4. KATE BOSWORTH in tie-dye. What else screams music festival more?

5. KATE BOSWORTH AGAIN wearing crochet which seems to be a growing trend.

6. WHITNEY PORT mixes crazy prints.

7. CAMILLA BELLE AGAIN in another perfect outdoor concert look with Frye harness boots like mine.

8. A RANDOM FESTIVAL-GOER with my favorite new look: loose tee and bandage skirt.

I woke up this morning with an overwhelming need for summer. Exams are over, and vacation has begun, yet I cannot wait for my favorite parts of the hot lazy days and warm, breezy nights to arrive.

So in no particular order, here are the fifteen best aspects of summer.

Sundresses and sandals

2. Bonfires

3. Comfortably imbibing iced drinks

4. Reading for pleasure, sans highlighter/Sparknotes

5. Hunting for sea glass

6. Tie-dying shirts

7. Drive-in movies

8. Amusement parks

9. Ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, of course

10. Warm night guitar sessions

11. Jumping waves at the beach

12. Summer fruit (mmm peaches, plums, strawberries)

13. Sun-induced highlights (very recession-friendly)

14. Epic sunsets

15. The smell of the pavement after rain

It was cool in the ‘70s. It was cool in fifth grade. It is and always will be cool at any Phish or Dave Matthews Band concert. Tie-dye is back and is literally in fashion this spring. Blending seamlessly into the carefree fashion that we all try to channel, tie-dye is making its way onto shelves and into the closets of celebrity fashionistas. Pair tie-dye dresses and tops with strappy wedges or woven sandals. Add even more of a boho feel with excessive gold jewelry. Seen on the runways and on the sidewalks, this technique of dying hasn’t died yet!
