I’ve often gotten fully dressed to go at night, looked in the mirror, and realized that most of my outfit inadvertently consists of black. Hailing myself as a bohemian person, this monochromatic black and boho thing is quite the paradox. That’s why it becomes necessary to make the black on black not look so neutral by adding touches like embroidery and texture—things that make hippie style what it is. Toe the indie line and step way past the Gothic domain, to make this head to toe black look decidedly bohemian. The dark looks below were carefully carried out successfully. This might not be the springiest of posts but wear these looks out on spring weekend nights and your bohemian in black mysteriousness will be the start of a good night, I promise.

All black with hair pulled back yet the least boring outfit I've ever seen on her

The fringe and embroidery turn this from goth to boho

It's all in the golden touches to shake up the black factor

Add a strap to that bright clutch and I would wear this exact outfit on a night out

A frequent all-black dabbler, she knows how to pull this off

This is clearly an oldie, have you ever seen Jen looking this unphotogenic? Black Cali cool

Gucci Fall 2008

Black suede boots in the summer are so underrated

Elle Macpherson looks fierce with beige and gold boho accents

Interesting shirt, an interesting choice for her

This barely levels above boring, maybe add some gold accents
Peace,
