I Want To Walk Randomly And Alone To Find Something Remarkable

[by Lauren Ward viz here]

I recently had a conversation with a friend about how freeing it feels to literally just walk away from a situation or problem. As much as this sounds like the anti-solution, it really got me thinking. I can distinctively remember several times when I have removed myself from a confrontation to walk it off.  So maybe it’s not really running away at all. Running away from the sound and the voices maybe, but never the thoughts. Walking with your thoughts alone, making it easier to sort through the ideas, the worries, the issues.

I think I need one of these walks right about now.

Peace,
