Monday Playlist: Old iPod Edition

In limbo between replacing my broken iPod classic with a functioning nano, I decided to fiddle with my 4.5-year-old iPod mini. It seems to have risen from the dead, and though I haven’t put any new songs on it, I’ve been quite enjoying my 2006 favorites. Here’s some refound favorites:

1. “So Here We Are” by Bloc Party

2. “405 (Acoustic)” by Death Cab for Cutie

3. “Under the Tracks” by Creeper Lagoon

4.”Love of the Loveless” by Eels

5. “Homecoming King” by Guster

6. “Afterglow” by INXS

7. “Magic Pie” by Oasis

8. “Specialist” by Interpol

9. “Warning Sign” by Coldplay

10. “Hideaway” by Rock Kills Kid

Music flashback associationism is the best.

Driving with the windows down, slightly over speed limit, the perfect mixed tape blasting describes how I have been celebrating the start of my school break. On a separate yet still musically-related note, I’m seeing Dr. Dog in concert tomorrow. And they are AMAZING live.

What’s everyone listening to?

The beginning of this week was non-stop sunshine, and therefore, happiness. Today it rained, but tomorrow the forecast is sunny again and I couldn’t be more excited for an adventurous weekend. Any ideas for a good sunny Saturday adventure, in this city or otherwise?
