Down in the Triangle Where the Sea was Smooth as Glass

It’s almost as if I lived an entire summer’s worth of relaxation and adventure in just one week. With my mom, cousin, and family friend, some good food, new friends, and non-stop sunshine, there was nothing to complain about. Plus not constantly checking a clock, phone, laptop, etc. was all the vacation that I really needed anyway. After all of this Bermudian living, coming back to reality is going to be a rude awakening.

Weekend Antics

In summary: three birthdays (my own included)have kept the celebrations going for the past month straight. Due to our wino tendencies, some great food–empanadas, tapas, and Italian–two larger than expected birthday parties, and even some Gran Marnier French toast, June has been pretty memorable. But for me it’s definitely time to relax a bit.

Weekend Antics

Aren’t my friends cute? This past weekend was a whirlwind of good weather and outdoor concerts. Due to Boston University’s underwhelming display of concert-ness, my friends and I decided to look elsewhere for cheap music.  With oversized sunglasses, flasks, and some trusty disposable cameras,  we faced the  festivals and had quite the weekend.

What is everyone planning for this weekend?

As promised, here are some photos from a recent New York/New Jersey trip. My friends have some damn good cameras that framed the beautiful weather perfectly. It was so lovely, in fact, that my trench coat was able to be sported for the first time. Greenwich Village, Soho, Washington Square Park are all such magical places. I live and love Boston, but New York City has a pace and a lifestyle all its own. Maybe one day I’ll brave it!

Peace,
