Sees In The Pool Her Own Reflection

A native of Australia, Isabel Lucas has been on the Hollywood scene for only a year. She’s already scored roles in the Transformers and Daybreakers. And though I have of course seen neither of these, this is one new it girl who is on the brink of making it.

Isabel has a beachy, casual style that has Australia written all over it. From flowing skirts and sundresses to casual loafers, she looks much more herself in street style.

This particular fashionista held my interest for another reason in addition to her bohemian wardrobe. She is also highly involved in environmental activism. Fun fact: the girl has an outstanding Japanese arrest warrant for her involvement in a whaling protest alongside Hayden Panettiere. A sense of style and conscience=my new style muse.

Blue Eyes, You’re The Secret I Keep

I love Alexis Bledel. Her simple style. Her crazy/beautiful blue eyes. Her fast-talking Rory Gilmore days. And the fact that Spanish is her first language (her parents are Mexican and Argentine). More projects, please?

The retro floral mini calls to mind Zooey Deschanel’s Summer style. Alexis wears neutrals so well such as the brown jacket with paisley and the safari-esque shirt dress. Perhaps the Mexicana tote is to represent her mom’s homeland. Regardless, her causal style is simple and refreshing.

She can step it up quite a bit for those events! Looking gorgeous in Herve Leger and Rebecca Minkoff. I can’t help but notice she loves using blue clothing to highlight her eyes. And the shoes! Booties, gladiators…she seems to focus on footwear trends more than on style trends!

The Pattern Still Remains, And It’s Fitting That It Should

Following the “pattern” set by her family’s fashion legacy, Margherita does not fail to impress with her own individual style. Wearing patterns beautifully is in her blood. When not studying acting or campaigning for the brand, the de-facto Missoni poster child is often seen donning gowns that have her last name on the tag. And why shouldn’t she? The colors and silhouettes fit her Mediterranean look flawlessly. Margherita’s grandparents started the Missoni fashion house and have since been known for their kaleidoscopic-like patterned knits.

Miss. Missoni grew up in Italy, often spending long stays in Milan (lucky girl). Now she is committed to her passion for theater in NYC. Before actually modeling in Missoni campaigns, she was the company ambassador, which basically entails being a Socialite who wears Missoni to every event.

We will all just have to watch and see if the Italian heiress has any acting talent. But the one thing I am sure of is that her Premiere ensembles will be zigzag chic.

She Eats Nectarines With Honey And Spends Her Daddy’s Money

Nicole is this generation’s original wild child. When it comes to being known more notoriety than for talent, Nicole ranks high on the list. The only thing I never anticipated her to do was to completely and utterly turn her life around and pick up all the pieces–and quite stylishly at that. I can’t help but root for the girl, despite the fact that her previous misfortunes were due solely to her reckless choices.

Style-wise this wild child is an icon. She started the oversized sunglasses phase (which has yet to end). She made headscarves an acceptable bad hair day fix. And she welcomed the boho chic revival with open arms and has yet to move on. No complaints here! Every single outfit of hers is an immaculate mix of modern and retro, taking cues from her past mentor Rachel Zoe. Comically enough, until designing her line House of Harlow of vintage jewelry, she really has had very few other career accomplishments. But her unwavering position as forerunner in the boho chic realm insures that I would follow her fashion sense to the ends of the earth.

The blond bohemian is now pregnant with a sibling for Harlow and I can only imagine what kind of hippie name this next one will get. Nicole seems happier and a lot healthier than she has in the past and has my full attention when it comes to street and red carpet style. Needless to say, we will not see Mama Richie rocking mom jeans anytime soon.

This style icon is strangely fascinating.

1. She is Vegan.

2. She is best friends with Patrick Fugit who played William Miller/main character in Almost Famous.

3. She eloped with her husband Tao Ruspoli, who is an Italian prince, when she was 18. They married in his family’s castle in Vignanello, Italy.

4. [Maxim ranked her #1 hottest female in the world]. That is actually a pretty damn sweet little title to have.

5. She graduated high school in Andover, MA!

6. She was on The OC. Obviously.

7. She was born with the last name Cockburn, but changed it to Wilde, after playing Gwendolen in Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest in high school.
