The Little Things

[source]

Sure, the big things are great. They’re what we live for. But getting from Point A to Point B would be a whole lot more lackluster if not for all the wonderful little things in life.

[source]

Like staying up too late…but then seeing the sun rise.

Like putting on warm clothes straight from the dryer.

Like the way the world looks the day after a snowstorm.

Like laughing with a stranger.

[source]

Like waking up on time without an alarm.

What little things brighten your day?

Between text messaging, tweeting, blogging, Facebook wallposting, and the like, I feel as if I’m constantly having more and more opportunity to think before I “speak.” Being a bit of an impulsive fast talker, I actually think social media’s unlimited time window makes me use my words less. My attempts somehow pile up in the form of blogpost drafts, over-140-character tweets, and other forgotten messages. Does anyone else ever feel as if social networking causes you to let ideas slip through the cracks?
