Style Icon: Whitney Port

We’ll See a Catherine Deneuve Double Feature & Our Lives Will Fade as in Darkness We Will Bathe

I am flat-out not a fan of reality TV. I am however a fan of one of its less histrionic starlets–Whitney Port. Always fresh-faced, always dressed for her age, her fashion risk-taking seems to always look wearable no matter what coast she’s on. She claims to be inspired by Catherine Deneuve; and a lot of the time, it shows. With her obvious resemblance aside, both Whitney and her French muse opt for lots of beige and color pops and seem to have that “je ne sais quoi” stoicism about them. (Hopefully she emulates Deneuve’s charity work–the list is extensive!) The City star and emerging fashion designer may not be the next great actress like Catherine was, but she sure looks good doing whatever it is she does for People’s Revolution.

THE LOOKS

interesting uses of jewelry | mini-dresses | wearable trends

vintage heels | urban street chic | all kinds of patterns

Are you inspired by Whitney’s style?

Peace,

  1. she is so fantastic, i just love her! her style always seems really effortless… she doesn’t seem to try too hard and yet she always looks fabulous and chic. and even when she’s dressed up, she has such a laidback, non-fussy quality about her. for being a tv-reality starlet, she’s quite refreshing! (and she has amazing legs! ;))

  2. found your site on del.icio.us today and really liked it.. i bookmarked it and will be back to check it out some more later

  3. PS. I also meant to put ‘www.deadstylish.wordpress.com’ at the bottom of my comment. I have been up since eight and NEED a cup of tea now!

  4. Hey there just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same results.
