What’s one thing that made you happy today?

For me: Caffeine addict chivalry. The Dunkin’ Donuts I frequented today ran out of medium-sized iced coffee cups right before my eyes. This is a tragedy for an uncaffeinated non-morning person facing an 8 hour work day. Enter stage left, a young corporate executive who had just ordered his own medium iced black. In a morning-making turn of events, he switched his beverage to hot coffee and told them to make mine instead in the last medium cup available!

So, I present to you: The Future-Favorite-Band Series. Once a week in alpha-order, I’ll be posting about a band: photo, why they’re awesome, songs to start with, etc. The bands will be of varying levels of popularity. In other words, don’t be offended if a band you know and love shows up on the list. Pretentious music snobs are my number one enemy and I’m not trying to be one of them. The purpose of this series is to share bands that make me extremely happy and maybe you’ll happen to find some new favorites.

Constantly hailed as today’s it girl, Alexa surprisingly calls the title “a depressing one to hold.” Instead she has her sights set on fashion journalism and her year-old job as a Vogue contributor is already paving the way. Model, fashion writer, It girl, or what-have-you, the Brit definitely has some serious style credibility.
